AuthoMate produces finished textbooks for K–12 educational publishers. We were founded by editors, teachers and engineers who had all worked inside textbook production and knew exactly which parts of it were craft and which parts were only repetition.

India rewrote its curriculum and asked publishers to keep up. NEP 2020 and NCF 2023 triggered a regeneration of nearly every K–12 textbook in the country. But the machine that produces those books has not changed in twenty-five years: eight sequential handoffs, hundreds of touchpoints, four to six months per title, and a cost line that grows only by hiring more people.
We founded AuthoMate because we had all worked inside that machine — as editors, as trainers, as engineers — and we knew which parts of it were craft and which parts were only repetition. Generic AI cannot tell the difference. We can, because we have done the job.
So we built the production layer the industry never had: specialised agents that carry a book from curriculum to press-ready file, operated by our own editorial team.

Correct before fast
A wrong page delivered early is worse than a right page delivered late. In educational publishing an error is not a bug — it is a recall, a reprint, and a school that stops trusting the publisher.

AI proposes; a person decides. We do not build or sell anything that removes human sign-off, however much faster it would be.

Built at the desk
Our advisors run real DTP floors and our founders have edited real books. We design with the production desk, not for an imagined version of it.

Weeks not years. Sixty per cent, not ninety. We publish the range we can defend and label projections as projections.
