Terms of delivery

  1. 1.The commitment. If we deliver past the agreed date, 25% of the fee is credited for each completed week of delay, up to the full fee. It applies automatically, without negotiation.
  2. 2.The condition. The schedule pauses whenever delivery depends on something from your side — source files, a decision, a review round. Every pause is logged in a tracker you can see.
  3. 3.Your review window. Two correction rounds are included. If a round comes back later than three working days, the delivery date moves by the same number of days.
  4. 4.Scope of change. Changes to the approved blueprint after production has begun are quoted separately. This protects the date for both of us.
  5. 5.Liability. Total liability is capped at the fee paid for the title. This is a delivery commitment on our work, not an indemnity against your commercial outcomes.
  6. 6.Platform credit. Half of everything paid for delivered titles is credited against the first year of AuthoMate platform access, if and when the publisher chooses to move to it. Nothing about that is required.

Eight questions publishers ask first

Yes, for a standard 180–240 page interior on an Edition Rebuild, including content, figures, composition, the compliance annexure and two rounds of correction. Teacher’s manuals, digital assets and language variants are quoted separately.

Because you are taking a risk on an unproven supplier. We price the first title at our highest-volume rate so the decision costs you as little as possible.

Two rounds of correction are included in the fee. If we miss the delivery date, the fee reduces on the published scale. If the work is wrong rather than late, we correct it.

For an Edition Rebuild, yes — that is what makes it fast and low-risk. For New Title Origination we work from the syllabus up, which takes longer and is scoped separately.

You do. Full copyright assigns to you on final payment. It carries your imprint and your voice, and we claim no residual rights.

No. Each publisher’s material is produced in a separate controlled workspace, and this is written into the NDA.

No. We deliver press-ready files and you take them to your own printer on your own terms.

In milestones against the order — part on commission, the balance on delivery — so neither side is carrying the whole exposure at once.
